Five pillars of business education quality
Each ICBEP review is organized around five connected pillars, supported by documented evidence and an annual improvement cycle.
Governance & Integrity
Leadership structure, transparency, academic responsibility, and ethical operations.
Curriculum & Program Design
Clear outcomes, relevant content, assessment design, and industry alignment.
Faculty & Industry Experts
Qualified educators, trainers, mentors, practitioners, and subject specialists.
Learner Experience
Admissions clarity, learner support, feedback systems, progression, and communication.
Impact & Continuous Improvement
Graduate outcomes, employer relevance, innovation, review cycles, and improvement planning.
How recognition is applied
ICBEP recognition is voluntary and evidence-based. Institutions are reviewed against the published framework, with decisions kept independent of commercial relationships. Recognition reflects demonstrated quality at the time of review and is maintained through an annual update.
Annual review expectations
Recognized institutions submit an annual quality update confirming continued alignment with the framework, material changes, and improvement progress. This keeps directory records accurate and current.
Responsible use of recognition
ICBEP recognition must be represented accurately. It is an independent quality recognition — not government approval, statutory accreditation, university authorization, or professional licensing. The Badge Usage Policy sets out exactly how the ICBEP name and badge may be displayed.
