Recognition Process

A clear, ten-stage pathway from first expression of interest through annual quality review.

Step by Step

The ICBEP recognition pathway

Every institution moves through the same transparent stages. Each stage is documented, and progress is visible in the member portal.

1

Expression of Interest

The institution registers interest and confirms the recognition category it is seeking.

2

Institution Profile Submission

Profile, scope, programs, and operating details are submitted through the member portal.

3

Eligibility Screening

ICBEP confirms basic eligibility, documentation readiness, and program category.

4

Standards Self-Review

The institution completes a guided self-assessment against the five quality pillars.

5

Document Review

Governance, curriculum, faculty, learner support, and outcomes evidence is examined.

6

Program / Institutional Evaluation

Reviewers evaluate evidence consistently against the published framework.

7

Recognition Decision

A recognition status is issued based on findings and compliance evidence.

8

Directory Listing

Approved institutions and programs are published for public verification.

9

Digital Badge Issuance

A recognition badge is issued for responsible, accurate display.

10

Annual Quality Update

An annual review confirms continued alignment and improvement progress.

The Institutional Accreditation / Recognition Review is USD $1,000 yearly and includes the full review process, public directory listing, verification status, recognition badge, and annual quality review. All fees are annual and subject to review. ICBEP recognition, membership, or listing does not replace government approval, statutory accreditation, university authorization, or professional licensing requirements in any country.
